Project Engineer

  •  The successful Project Engineer candidate will be able to perform the following functions and responsibilities.
  • Design of building automation/system integration systems by creating installation drawings, submittal drawings, as-built drawings.
  • Ability to write sequence of operations to meet project specifications
  • Aptitude to read and interpret project specification, plans, equipment specifications and conduct site surveys
  • Develop programming  for control systems
  • Provide engineering support to other team members
  • Assist and support field installation team with commissioning, start-up of systems
  • Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communication with staff, as needed, and providing customer feedback.
  • Some local based travel is required
  • Flexibility to work outside normal work hours/weekends, as required
  • Perform other duties as required

           Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering OR equivalent combination of education/experience
  • Prior experience in temperature controls or understanding of HVAC systems
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Visio and other Microsoft Office Programs
  • Ability to work independently and the capability to multi-task
  • Knowledge of Invensys/TAC, Siemens and Tridum Niagara Framework, Pneumatics, Staefa, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, LonWorks/BACnet Systems Integrations  knowledge a plus

Payroll Administrator

Technical Building Services, Inc. is seeking a dynamic individual for a position in Payroll.  A successful candidate will have a general knowledge of accounting practices, will be self motivated, dependable, trustworthy, able to multi-task, and thorough with assigned tasks.  Must be able to work well with others as well as independently.  Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel.  Experience with prevailing wage and certified payroll preferred.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Process all data for weekly payroll
  • Process/Submit state and federal payroll taxes
  • Generate, maintain, and submit 401k reports
  • Generate, maintain, and submit union reports
  • Generate and maintain time off sheets
  • Generate and maintain review sheets
  • Generate certified payroll reports
  • Maintain Employee files
  • Answering phones
  • General front office support

Control Panel Fabricator/Assembler

Technical Building Services, Inc is searching for a Control Panel Fabricator/Assembler. The ideal candidate will have experience in control panel building, wiring, and reading schematics and electrical diagrams. We are willing to train individuals with a similar background. Understanding of electrical assembly and a mechanical aptitude would be a major asset. Experience using hand tools to drill, tap, and assemble electrical panel is helpful. The successful candidate must be highly motivated, detail oriented and able to work independently as well as in a team environment. Neat and quality workmanship is an absolute must. Pay will be based on experience.
