Camphill Village, a unique community comprised of families and adults with special needs, was looking to upgrade the defunct control system for its potable water facilities. The Village's facilities consist of two outbuildings that pump well water to storage tanks atop a nearby hill. These tanks supply water for the Village's 240 residents, as well as the medical center, biodynamic dairy and livestock farm, workshops, bakery, and café.

TBS installed controllers to sequence the variable frequency drives on the pumps that feed potable water to the residents and also fill the storage tanks. The Village's wireless Ethernet infrastructure was used to link the pump control system with the sensors in the storage tanks. The The facilities depertment recieves alarms from the system via email if tank water levels drop too low. The facilities director also recieves weekly water usage and pump efficiency reports via email. The new control system ensures that the residents of Camphill Village will not run out of potable water, in their workplaces or their homes.
